Mrs. Wm. Marshal died very suddenly last Saturday evening at her late home on the Joseph Marshall farm_in EKlkhart township. The funeral was held - in Cosperville Tuesday, April sth. conducted by Rev.T.J. Mawhorter. The deceased leaves a husband and one two-year-old ehild. ! :
Jacob B. Long was born.in Piqua, Ohio, December 17, 1847, and died at North Bethel, Mich., Wednesday, March 30, aged 56 years. 3 months and 13 days. He came, with his parents, to Noble county when a small boy. The deceased learned the trade of blacksmithing and was our village blacksmith for several years. He was united in marriage to Miss Lida Myers Deéc. 24, 19723 to this union one daughter (Minnie) was born. Mrs Long died in 1890, and in 1894 the deceased moved to Batona Branch county, Mich., where for the past year he resided with his son-in-law, John Poyser. He was a member of Bronson I. O. O: F. Lodge and the K. O. T. M., No. 709. The funeral took place at the M. E. church Saturday a. m., conducted by Rev. T.J. Mawhorter. Text Rom. 8:14. Burial at the Ligonier cemetery. Y
