We shall go to press before the Exctirsion, and we can only speak in the prospective—but from all appearances, ‘should the weather be fine, Thursday morning will witness a larger gathering of the “young twigs” of Ligonier and vicinity at the Station; than the early fathers ever conceived of. . ‘While we write many and manya young pure innocent heart beats and throbs with anticipated pleasure and delight to be experienced at the excursion, and how eagerly do they hope that “it won’t rain.” - | May their hopes notbe too rudely crushed, and may no ‘accident befall them, : | ’ § ___;-—o~<.—oo-———2-

S Flouring Mills. j _ Ligonier and vicinity are now . provided with Mills sufficient to do the work of this section of country. The Steam Mill across the river is doing quite a business for a mill of its size. 'The large water mill lately built by the Messrs. Fishers and Hostetter at Rochester, a mile and a half above this place; is already as we understand <arning quite an enviable reputation. "The Mill is capable of doing quite a Jarge amount of flouring. Our citizens all should have a generous feeling towards those who. conduce to the real welfare and prosperity of our village and county. -~
