Gents:-+~The dwelling of Mr. Ephraim Mead of this place was entirély consumed by fire on Tucsday night “the 27 ult., together with all his provisions, furniture, &c. Mr. Mead & family. barely escaped with their lives, as the roof had ‘already began to fallin whep they awoke. One of his children, an infant, was badly burned. His loss -is estimated at $6OO.
