Arsany Prices —The Knickerbocker say<-—Last winter hides sold in the sireets at eight centsa pound; they now sell for four cents, Sheepskins a year or two agosold at §3 each; they now séll at prices varyrinfiefmm 62 centsto $l. Leather in a year has fallen abeut 12 centsper pound. Mution, which Jast year sold for 9 centsa pound, now sells for 5 and 6 cents. Butter was 31 cents a pound; it now sells from 16 to 22 cts. Potatoes are a little dearer than last winter . Hams, shoulders, pork, flour, sugar, lard, molasses, &c., are much cheaper than they were a yearago. A dollar to-day, will purchase as much food as a dollar and a half wonld have bought in Jannary, 1887. T
