Emery Scholl, of near Alquina was the truest of relatives here, Sunday. Dr. and Mrs. Sherman and Mrs. Tell Bows were Connersville visitors, Saturday. Maruaret McBride Watt, wife of the late Ira G. Watt, was born near Greenville, O., on March 13th, 1840. and died at her home where she had for more that, fifty years, resided, one and one half mil s northwest of hereon Wednesday, April 19. I916, age ;6 years, 1 month and 6 days. On May 29th, 1859, she was married to Ira G. Watt. This marriage was blest with two children, one son and one daughter, William R Watt and Mrs. John L. Mäher, who survive to mourn the death of a good christian mother. Deceased was a life long member of the Methodist church, here in Brownsville, and lived her life in harmony with her profession and died in the triumphs of a living faith. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. C. W. Whitman and Rev. A. L. Porter at the M. E- Church on Friday at 2 o'clock. Interment was made in the M. Cemetery. Thus hath another good, woman gone to her reward. L. J. Cully, John L. Maherand others attended the Democratic State Conventional Indianapolis this week. Prof. Stout and wife are moving their household goods to his father's farm in Harrison Tp., this week. They will sptnd the summer at North Manchester, and will leave in the early Fall for Florida, where the Prof, has a position in the high school at Alberon. We join their many friends in wishing them success in their Southern home. Mrs. Henry Gavin and Miss Margaret Hennebry of . l-iberty, were guests of Mr?.' J. M. Carlos, part of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Hanly and Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Abernathy and and sons, of Gonnersville, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mr?. Dolph Handley. E. P. Moore was greeting his numerous friends here on Tuesday. Mrs. D. S. Petro, of Conners ville, was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Tell Hoggs, Wednesday. Clarence McBride, of Dayton, Ohio, and. Mr. and Mrs. Delvan McBride, of West Alexandria, 0. were here, Friday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Margaret Watt. The ladies of the M E. Aid Society held a successful Easter Market at Cully's Store on last Thursday. Edgar Bell, John Maze. Jr., Dorothy N orris and Kuth W att are recovering from a mild attack of measles. Chas.
