The best demonstration given so far this year at any of the meetings of the Cooking club wns given yesterday afternoon at the meeting held at the home of Mrs. Walter Perkins, on Es planade street, with Mrs. 0. S. Hill and Mrs. C. E. Davis assistants. The demonstration was given by - Miss Cummer of Purdue university, her subject being, "The Uses of Stale Hread and Bread Crumbs." Every demonstration was practical and very toothsome. At the conclusion of the program the hostess served a lunch eon. Mrs. Edgar Dodson was a lubstitute guest. DINNER DATE CHANCED The dinner for the families of tht members of the Rain or Bhine club which waa announced for next Friday evening, December 14, has been changed from this date to Wednesday, December 12.
