When James Davidson was returning to this city from a trip in the northeast part of the county yesterday afternoon, his Ford skidded in the Know at a turn, and flopped on its side. Davidson was not injured but
the machine suffered the loss of one
rear door. It was taken to the Air hart gurage here for repairs.

Fuel Company There Drills in a New Gas Well. Sheridan's fuel situation for the winter was materially brightened this week when the local gas company drilled in a good well on the William Coiripton farm two miles south of Sheridan. Trenton rock was struck at 1052 feet. It has a rock pressure of two hundred and twenty-live pounds and will be turned into the Sheridan mains.
INFANT IS ILL, An Advance special says: "The two weeks old babe of Mr. and Mrs. Hrucc Pickering near here, has bi'en ctitically ill for several days past with rather a strange malady. A blood vessel bursted on top of its head which seemed to enlarge the blood vessels all over the child's body. Sunday th place were lanced hy Dr. Itounell, of Jamestown, from which the poison from other parts of the body have been escaping and at present the little one's friends have hope of its recovery."
