Charles Slusser, Captain of Home ' Guards, Receives Word From Adjutant General

Captain Charlei Slusser, of the Boone County Home Guards, received a communication from the headquartera of the new first regiment of the state uard, thia morning which as sures that the local organisation will become a unit in the atate militia. Ho wan requested to send in the num l.-cr of recruits in the Lebanon company so th::t muster papers could be issued fit once. The Home Cunrdi now have 76 men. and three officers. Non-commissioned officers w ill bo elected later. Jlore reel uits are wanted.
