First DriU Meeting Will be Held Next Tuesday Night at Armory. The initial meeting of the Home Guards organization was held taut night in the armory. The purpose of the urbanisation was explained by Charles siupr th rpta:n, and general discussion was held. Twenty-eight men turned out, including several from out townships. It was reported that fif'een men had been enrolled at Whitostown. The chief problem for the Home Guunls now is in enlisting enough recruits to serve as a working basis. There will be no enlistment papers to s'irn. The enlistment is purely voluntary and the service optional. Regulation khaki uniforms will be furnished hy the state and the I'. S. army rifles will be secured from the federal government. It is hoped that l.'-o men can be recruited into the eetnnany from Lebanon. Recruits may iirn their names on the roster at the Star Drug Store. The first drill meetng v ill be held next Tuesday night at '.he armory.
