Hallow' Event Given Lut Night - at th High School. Thi annual Hallowe'en reception given by the high school faculty lo the students was held lat night in the high achool gymnasium. Almost the entire student body was in attendance, all "en masque." Number - less unique and attractive costumes were in enilcnce. The gym was taste-' fully decorated. Prof. Robert Coleman made a most excellent master of ceremonies. Pnxer of boxes of candy were awarded for the best costume and for the bej'. pose made from a screened stage, Oorolhy Varntl, as Red Hiding Hood, won the best costume prize, and Kmsell Richardson carried off the honors for the best pose. Music on the piano was furnished tlireughout the cening by Miss Kiiidig. School and popular song were sung by the students. Couples were formed and refreshments of popcorr. halls and apples were enjoyed.
