ABUTMENT UNDERMINED.
Damage Done by Heavy Rains to (Jrade of Cement Road. The heavy rains of yesterday and last night undermined about fifty feet of the abutment along the grade of the cement road just north of Thorntown. causing it to crumble and fall over in the creek thus resulting in a loss of $(100 in material besides the labor. The cement road is not yet completed and the accident will quite likelv he a loss to contractor Miller of this city.
