Repairing?
It's the duty of a surgeon to know whether a patient will survive the operation. It's the duty of a vulcanizer to know whether a repaired tire will warrant the operation. WE ARE VULCANIZERS It is our profession to know and understand tires. After examination, if your tire will not warrant the expense of a repair, we will quickly tell you so, if it is, we can then tell you what would be best to do to your tire to get the most miles per dollar. If we have turned down the first tire you brought to us for repair,, don't stop bringing them thinking that they are all alike; possibly the next one will be 0. K. Try it and see. REMEMBER: We are here to benefit you as well as ourselves. Our air and water is at your service at any time. Lebanon Vulcanizing and

SOCIAL CALENDAK.
Wardie Leopard, of Sheridan who
ha been in jail here fur the paat month for atealing five chickene from Cjr Moulton near Terhune last June, was sentenced to the state prison at Michigan City for a term of from one
to eight years. i A plea of guilty wa entered by ' ! the defendant's attorney, H. H. Griffin, i i of Sheridan. Investigation showed ; that the chickens- were stolen at ; night. Moulton discovered the theft in the morning and suspected Leop- ; !ard. Moultor went to Leopard's home l and discovered his chickens, which were of a peculiar color, locked up in ' a woodhous. He then secured the ! services of the Sheridan marshal in , taking back the fowls to his farm, ! where in the evening they went to 1 their accustomed roosting place. As soon as Moulton filed an affidavit with the Lebanon authorities, ' Leopard disappeared. He was gone ; for several days, when the report jwas received that he had come back i to the home of his father in Clinton ; county thinking that the trouble had ! blown over sufficiently for him to be safe. However, as soon as this was learned, Sheriff Lewis and Prosecutor i Hollingsworth motored to the place Sand secured Leopard, who again at- : tempted to escape. He was brought to I the local jail, where he has since reis'ded. Judge Parr gave him the limit, been use it was established that he was I somewhat of a worthless character. He will probably be taken to prison today by the sheriff.
