! The funeral of Mm. Anna Rnnk ; Nicely, a member of one of the oldest 'end best families of the Advance community, who died Wednesday was held jthin afternoon at the home of the i daughter, Mrs. Mollie MrCain in j Advance. Mr. Nicely was born in Boone county, but has not been a resident of i Advance all of her life. After her 1 marriage she moved there. Her husIhand died a number of years ago. Two 'children survive, John Nicely tn! Mrs. Mollie McCain both "of Advance. She was a member of the Advance ! Christian church.

TO THE DRAFTED MEN Asked to Attend a Special Performance of "Fighting in , France" at Opera House.
John H. Hoy, manager of the Grand Opera House, extends a upecial invitation to all of the drafted men who will take part in the demonstration tomorrow night, to come to hear Prof Michelon, the French lecturer and to see the motion picture "Fighting in France," after the program at the court house tomorrow night. A complete show will be given for their benefit, and Professor Michelon, who is in the United States on a furlough from the' army of France, will give them a special lecture.
