I contract for building the Reagan ele- ! vator. Construction work on the ele
vator has been under way for several weeks, and the structure is now nearing complotion. It is located on the right-of-way of the new Indianapolis & Frankfort railroad. The elevator is owned by a corporation of Frankfort men. and is to lie operated when the new railroad is finished. The pluce where Moore was working when the scaffold rope broke, was just 17! feet above a concrete floor below. He fell into the basement at this part of the tdevalur. The scaffold was at a point about even with the main floor of the building. Several fellow workmen saw the accident. The rope seemed to break suddenly and without fraying, they said. Moore clutched wildly as he fell from his place, but pitched headlong from the scaffold.

As a small boy he ran away to sea and
at nineteen was cap' tain and part owner of a trading vessel. Invested savings were profitable and he sup' ported the government with a five-million' dollar loan in the 1812 war. Cirard college for poor boys is his monument. There is not much variation in these stories of men's actiievcmcnts. The poor boy who worb earnestly and saves as much as possible for future investment generally is the person who commands men and directs great enterprises in after years. Now is the time for you to build for the future. Begin by depositing a part of your salary with us this week. Get the saving habit k will help you later. Multiply your money in our care.
