There were 5.500 fresh hogs arrived for the market this morning and the market opened with the demand the best for the hogs weighing from 160 to 200 pounds which brought the top pries $15.50, and were 25c higher than yesterday. Others weighing from 200 to 225 pounds sold at $15.40 or 15e higher yesterday but the hogs weighing from 225 pounds upward sold at $15.30 against $15.40 yesterday or 10c tower. There was a good demand from all sources and the week closed with very little difference in th aver age cost compared with the does of last week. CATTLE The receipts of cattle were 250, which is not large for the time in the week, hut there proved to he fully as many as necessary to tupply the very limited demand, tlicrr being a lack of inquiry from many ol the local killers, hut so far as prices r CT,,...rnd ther U- very little hange as compared with yesterday.
