Committee Urges Farmers t Report Good Fields of Wheat.

Several inquiries have been reeeivec by Virgil Buntin, chairmen pf the aced wheat aelection compaign in - Boone eottnty, as to where certain HnH o seed w heat might be obtained One o these was from another county, asking where good Rudy wheat could be obtained in this vieinity. The com mittee uiges that all farmers who have good fields of wheat report it so that only the best will be sown next year. E. C. Martindale, Purdue wheat lecturer and expert, who wai; here inaugurating the campaign several days ago, has sent the reports from the fields he investigated to Mr. Buntin. He only had opportunity to inspect almut 13 fields or about 2S0 acres, while here. most of these being in Center and S-igar Creek to nships Most of the v heat reported was of the l:udv variety, with si.ine Red Wave and Gip.-y. DIED TODAY AFTER A Mary Emily Wallace Passed Away at Her Home in Heifdricks County. The demise of Mary Emily Wallace occurred this morning at 2:00 o'clock at her residence, in Middle tbwnship, Hendricks county. She has been ill eix months. She was born in Ohio, and was aged at the time of her decease, seventy-nine years, three months, and twenty-eighWdays. She was married in 18;"! in Ohio to the late John Ijitta Wallace. One son. Henry Wallace, and one daughter, Ftta Keser, are living. One brother. W. S. Vpp. of Tulsa, Okla., and two sisters, Brara Shermnn, of Lexington, Okla., and Sarah Uiggs, of .Kansas City, Mo., survive.
