The state food and production com mittee, hoping with farmers that farrable weather conditions will make he. biggest corn crop in the history of he state of Indiana, has begun a ramaign to encourage the conservation if fodder by means of silos. The slogan of the committee 's: 'Ten thousand more silo howitzers in 'ndiana by September." The slogan vas evolved by Representative Morris Douglas, of the food committee. War posters probably will soon rrace the billboards of the state, carrying home the message of food -observation, and aiding in the silo Tampign. Campaigns also will he romlucted in several counties. ComeUnt speakers have been assigned to ddres the farmers on the subject. Following the campaigns in the northern counties, all of which will be held before harvest commences, the line of the attacks will be shifted to ounties in southern Indiana and the speakers will follow after the harvest soason until they again reach the northern counties.
