Further complications were added yesterday to the legal tangle involving the administration of a state oi inspection law, when Marion Caldwell, Governor Goodrich's appointee as supervisor of oil inspection, ad dressed letters to about slxty-fm deputy inspectors throughout the state, notifying them to start today inspecting oil under the terms of the law passed by the legislature in 1881 The deputies to work under Mr Caldwell's direction will be practically the same as those appointed bj Carl Mote several months before the injunction suit against the enforce ment of the law of l'JOl was brought by the oil companies before Judgr Anderson in the federal court Two Sets of Inspectors. all the fees paid by the companies.

The front spring of the Hup caught o the rear iprmg of the other machine and was dragged about a half square before Butler got his car stopped. Neither machine was damagrd. Miss Bradhum is employed as a nurse at the Williams hospital.
