Lao w Splendid Entertainment to be Given at Elks' Hall Thursday Night. On Thursday evening an entertainment will be given at the Elks' hall under the auspices o the Kik3 ami Tri Kappas, for the benefit of the Red Cross. The program will consist of vocal numbers by Clarence Ball, tenor; character sketches, Alva Wvnkoop singing anil dancing by Miss Katheriro Parkhurst and Miss Ramon Brandon. The entire proceeds will go to the Ked Cross. The program is one 'which woi crvt from 41.50 to $2.00 in any city the country. Clarence Kail, always a -inger of the highest rlass, has improved wonderfully during the past year from his studies in New York City. Mr. Wynkoop's readings are all new, and his ability is well known alh nr the county. Miss Parkhurst is dainty and graceful to the extrpme in her dances, and little Ramona Brandon in her songs and dances delights her audiences. The marriage of Miss Faith Pearl Pierce of this city and F.'.ra Bunnell of Broad Ripple, lndianapclts was sol. emnued this afternoon at ":30 o'clock at the home of Rev. W. P. McKinsey cm Fast Pearl street, the Rev. Mr. McKinsey reading the Methoiiist Epispal ring service. The ceremony was performed in the presence of the immediate relutivea of the bridal party. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Murthy of ( armel, Ind.. and the Misses Anna and Ella Bunnell of Bioad Ripple, sisters of the groom. Miss Pierce is the daughter of Sirs. Margaret Pierce of South f'xst strt-'t. She is active in social and church nffairs being a member of the M,.'tln!ist Episcopal church and for the pa t seventeen yeurs has held the position of secretary of the Methodist Sun day school. Mr. Bunnell is a prominent business man of Indianapolis to which place he will take his bride for residence. BRIDE IS HONORED. Miss Pearl Pierce Presented With Gifts From Sunday School. Miss Pearl Pierce of South East street whose marriage t Eira BunII of Broad Ripple, Indianapolis, oc curred this afternoon at 8:!10 o'clock was honored Sunday morning at the Methodist church wher following the egular Sunday school program a pecial program was given at which time Miss Pierce was presented with gifts of silver from the school. For the past seventeen years Miss Pierce has faithfully served the Sunday school in the capacity of secretary, not missis a Sunday service in that gth of time. The appreciation of the efficiency and absolute promptness of Miss Pierce was manifested at this . Dr. Ball, superintendent of the Sunday school, made the presentation peech and the gifts were presented by Katherine Rinehart and Annabelle Parr. B. F. A large number of people mere present to hear the interesting program and to enjoy the enthusiastic meeting. In the morning an address was given by Rev. Homer Dale of this city and in the afternoon the speakers were Rev. Mr. Shott of Crawfordsville, and Rev. Cook of Ward. Two flag drills were also given hy girls from the Dover and Max Sunday schools. A feature of the day was the elegant dinner served at noon. ASSISTED IN RECITAL. Miss Elizabeth Carner accompanied by her mother, Mrs. W. D. Gamer, went to Indianapolis yesterday where in the evening Miss Garner assisted in a recital given by the pupils of Miss Bertha jasper, pianist, and two other teachers, all members of the Home Co-operative teachers' association. The recital vu given at 8:10 at the Pierson Music house. In the evening Mrs. Garner and daughter were entertained at dinner at the home of Miss Jter.
