Owens near Adance Sunday, June 2 1. Formerly the early gatherings at the Owen home had been to celebrate the wedding anrary of the late Miredith Owens d wife. As Mr. Owens death oerurI last September, his decendanU not forgetful of the day of their annual gathering met at the above home their first family reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Owens lived to celebrate their ilth wedding anniversary. Many bowls and vases of lilies, pink sweet pens and greenery appointed the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Winn, on North Lebanon street this morning for the wedding of their daughtea-. Miss Leona to Robert Wallace of Cleveland. O., the service being rend at 10 o'clock by the Rev. C. A. Parkin, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church. Only the imme diate member of the family were present. Following the ceremony a dinner was served. Mr. Wallace has taken his bride for a short wedding iou ney after which they will return in this city for a few days' visit with Mr. and Mrs. Winn before going to Cleveland for resilience. The marriage is the culmination of a college romance begun when both were students at the Bradley Polytechnical Institute at Peoria, III., from winch institution they are iTadua'es Miss Winn is one of I.ebanun's most ih polar young ladies being prominent in social and church? activities. Mr. Wallace is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Wallace of Cleveland and is a young man of splendid traits of character. The marriage solemnized this morning was a surprise to the many friends of the young couple, who knowing of the engagement were not aware of the nearness of the wedding. SHOWER PARTY.
