Rogers of Spickard, Mo., were the guests at a noon dinner party given yesterday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rav Lasley of South Lebanon street MEETING POSTPONED The meeting of the Past Chiefs association which was to have been held this week has lieen postponed a week. Further date of the meeting will be announced later. NEW ROSS. Finley P. Mount, the president of the Romney Machine company, of Laporte, Ind., spent Satuniay evening and Sunday with relatives her. The regular meeting of the Berean Bible class was held last Thursday afternoon at the farm residence of Mrs. Thomas Walker one mile north of town. The meeting was opened with song und prayer. An interesting feature was a reading given by Miss Haael Walker "Brother Frenchman." After the business session refreshments consisting of ice cream and strawberries were served. The members present were Meadames Margaret Harris, Grace Bratton, Mary Ramsey, Hattie Trnutman, Maud Brown, Nina Evans, Rhoda Walkup. Dora Reiter, Anna Butler, Minnie Tipton. Eva Wall, Curtis Mitchell, Elizabeth Gray. Delia Baber Rachel Weedham, and Anna Woehl. The visitors were Miss Irene M ittheltree, Mrs. AUie Walker of Ladoga, and Messrs. W itliam Walker, William Ramsey. Emmet Waiker, Walter Mclntire, and Robert and Dwight Lynch of Mansfield, Ohio. A committee was appointed to frame resolutions of sympathy on the death of Mrs. Kffie Ijine, no waa at the time of death the secretary of this society.
