The Crawfnrdfville Review of Friday says: "Yesterday the forty-first annual reunion of the Sanford Gray family was held at the home of Mrs. Elizabeth Snyder, south Water street. Seventy-five including children, grand children and great-grandchildren of Sanford Gray were present. An entertaining program of music and readinirs was (riven throughout the day and at the noon hour a three coarse luncheon was served. Among the guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Henthorn of Kidye Farm, 111.; Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Gray and daughters and Mr. J. S. Vaughn of Lebanon; Mr. and Mrs. an.l Mrs. W. P. Gray and son, Walter, of Covington; Mrs. Ira Temple of Wingate. and Mrs. Spencer I.ee and ibugbter, Mary, of Fayetteville, Ark. Gray of Covinirton presented to the family a large American Tag n celebration of this, the annual nag lay." FOR FRENCH RELIEF. Sixteen Garments Completed at Meeting of Jolly Social Hour Club. Sixteen garments for the French relief were completed at the meeting of the Jolly Social Hour club held Friday ufternoon at the home of Mrs. I.on Varntz on North Fast street. At this time the members also decided to take up other relief work at the meet rigs to lie held during the summer Mra. W. T. Itansdell, an efficient member of the club who leaves Monday for Montana to spend the summer with Mr. Rnnsdell and also her daughter. Mrs. Raymond F.rk, was preivnted with a gift in token of the apprecia tion of her work as a member of the club. Following the hours spent in wing the hostess served a two cousse luncheon. Spiecial guests were Mrs. Charlotte McCann and Mrs. Cobb. ENTERTAIN BRIDGE CLUB. Mr. and Mi.. Harry Parnall were hosts to the West End Bridge club, entertaining at their home on West Washington street the member and the following guests: Mr. and Mra. M. V. The following program was given with Mrs. Esther Pickering as leader: Hymn, "More About Jesus"; prayer, Mis. Adah Fraiier; hymn, "All Hail The Power"; bible reading, Mrs. F.tie Hurrin; hymn, "My Faith Looks up to Thee"; business period; "C. W. Li. M. Work in Argiculture", Mrs. Mollie Brown; "An Instance of Evanpelistic Work in Argentine," Mrs. l.ula Thompson; "World Slission and World Peace." Miss Leola McClaine; "Hidden Answers"; special music. Mrs. Edith Wall; hymn, "Blest Be The Tie"; I nediction, C. W. B. M. A committee was appointed to. select officers for the coming year, which resulted in letaining the old officers: Mrs. Carl Riner, president; Mrs. J. T. Jones, vice-president; Mrs. Adah Frazier, secretary; Mrs. Effie Pui-rin. treasurer. For decorations bouquets of home grown roses were used, which were also used for favors. Refreshment were served. The July meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Adah Fraiier. FLOWERS DISTRIBUTED. The members of the W. C. T. U. each year observe Flo'ver Mission day at which time they distribute flowers to the sick, the shut-ins and the aged. The Flower Million day prograifi was given Thursday afternoon at the meeting of the society held at the home of Mrs. William Fish on East Washington street but the flowers were not distributed until yesterday afternoon. The members who helped in the distribution made a visit to the county farm where 32 liouquet .cie diati ibuted. A hort progiam consisting of readings by Mrs. J. T Brauhard and Miss Dorothy Stephenson, was also given here This act by the ladies is each year greatly appropriated by those who are remembered. ' TO SEW FOR RED CROSS. The members of the Research club will meet Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock in the basement of the public library in order to sew for the Red Cross society. These meetings will be held every two weeks at which time ths hours will be spent in sewing. All members are urged to be present at the meeting Tuesday. A 6 O'CLOCK DINNER. Mrs. Ora Page entertained at a 6 o'clock dinner last evening at her home on North Jameson street, covers being arranged for Mrs. Russell Mefford, Mrs. Harry Rumhaugh and Miss Farrie Neas. The table , was centered Tf ith a bssket of American beauty roses and the dinner was served in three courses. A 12 O'CLOCK DINNER. Mrs. Josiah Fishback assisted hv Miss Icel Chambers entertained the members of the I). M. C. club at an elegant 12 o'clock dinner yesterday at the country home of Mrs. Fishback Besides the club memriers, Mrs. Harry Ballard, Mrs. James Tyre and Miss Smith were present. THE NEIGHBORHOOD CLUB, The members of the Neighborhood club were pleasantly entertained Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Oem Shirley on South East street. I he hours were spent in conversation and needlework and a luncheon wa served by Mrs. Shirley assisted by her mother, Mrs. wealtha Dicks. BI-WEEKLY MEETING. Mrs. Tyra Fraiier was hostess at the regular bi-weekly meeting of the Jolly circle held yesterday afternoon at her home on Wert Chiem atrt The hours were spent informally and a luncheon was served. There were no guests. MEETS NEXT TUESDAY. All members of the O. N. T. club are earnestly requested to be present at the meeting to be held Tuesday af ternoon at the home of Mra. J. M. The tenate agriculture committee responded to President Wilson's desire ta ijuick actlu on the food legislation tcday by agreeing to report the Lever food control bill without recommendation in exactly the same form as recommended by the house agriculture committee. It will be laid before the senate some time this afternoon and will be taken up in the senate as well as in ve house early next week. Senator Chamberlain of Oregon will have charge of the measure on the floor in stead of Senator Gore, the chairman of the committee, who is opposed to the measure. C. M. FORBES TO ASSIST. Lebanon Maa Will Aid in Examining South Bend Trust Company. C. M. Forbea, assistant cashier of the Boone County State Bank, leaves tomorrow for South Bend where he will assist the state honk examiner in examining the books of a big trust company. From South Bend he will go to Laporte where ho will assist in examining a bank. He will tie gone probably all next week. TENTATIVE PLANS. Were Made by Threshermen of Coun ty For Permanent Organization. About fifteen threshermen met in e court room at the court house this afternoon for the purpose of forming a permanent organization. On account of the small attendance only tentative plans were made for the organization which will be perfected at a later meeting. WALTER DEAN DEAD. Well Known Citizen of Jackson Town ship Passed Away This Morning. Walter Dean, a well known resident of Jackson township, died at his home northwest of Advance this morning.
