Cnder weights at the start were bid on at prices 2fc lower, but after a little competition developed they sold at yesterday's prices. The week closed with prices 30e to 40c lower than a week ago. CATTLE The run of 300 cattle was as large as usual at this time in the week, but when the market opened there was a lack of competition and some of the leading local buyers were not in the market. Others, however, took what were offered at prices that were regarded as steady. A big run of calves sold at prices that were 25 51IC lower than yesterday, and they are now 2ftc lower than a week ago.
