Tbe men who vote for alcohol at Washington because the resolution or amendment may not be properly a section of the law under consideration, never try to find a proper place tor such resolution. Tho man who loses any opportunity to vote against alcohol, as a representative of the people at Washington, loses his very greatest opportunity. No other action would go o far help win this war as to abolish the shackles that bind the feet, the hands and the heads of the people of this country. Perhaps our senators may vote diff reatly when the mutter is presented in such a way that they can conscien iously do so.
