The Frankfort Crescent-News says:

"Tentative plans for the new Pennsylvania station to be erected in this city, probably within a few months,

have been prepared by tne ,ng;ineering department of the railway company. The new station will be located along the right-of-way, between Walnut and South streets. It is probable that representatives 0 the railroad (onipany will go before the city council in the near future, to ask the vacation of street and alley ends, in the immediate vicinity of me new station. The action of the council makes the

following out of plans now considered conditioiiury. "The plans for the new station, call for tlie finest structure of the kind in Frankfort. The building w ill be of brick, trimmetl with stone. Double tracks will pass the station building to the west. Train sheds will be built

11 long the west side of the tracks for

persons boarding or leaving tram n the west track. A subway will latl from the station to the west side if the tracks, so that passengers and others will not bo required to cross the tracks. "The building is to he a commodious structure, with separate offices for ttlrgiaph opeintors, agent, and ticket sellers. There will be a waiting room ami toilet rooms for women, and a large general waiting room in the center of the building, with toilet room for men. "A profile of the proposed location of the new station has been prepared, together with the sections of street ends which the railroad company wishes Varated. This action w ill lie necessary to prevent crossing the tracks at the point where the station is to be located. The profile will be submitted to the council. Itatifiration by passage of an ordinance will be necesiTary." HEAVY Lass.
