2:30. THE WESTMINSTER GUILD. Miss Mary Tolle was hostess to the Westminster Guild of the Presbyterian church last evening at its regular bi-weekly meeting held at her home on West Chicago street. Miss June Flaningam had charge of the devotional exercises and Miss Hazel Nelson gave a resume of a chapter in the society's study book after which Miss Loleta Bercaw conducted a quiz. Dur-

completed plans tor their part in the program to be given at the Wednesday afternoon session of the Presbyterial to he held at the Presbyterian church on next Wednesday and Thursday. The program at this time will consist of a pageant entitled, "Children of Many Lands" to be given in costume by the young members of the church. During the enjoyable social hour which followed the program a luncheon was
Entertainment Under Auspices of the Afternoon Embroidery Club. This evening at 7:30 o'clock at the Stokes building will be given the fourth in a series of entertainments to be given under the auspices of the Ladies' Afternoon Embroidery Club. The public is cordially invited to attend. An admission will not be charged but a silver offering will be taken at the door. MEETING POSTPONED. The pitch-in-supper which the members of the Travel Club were to have
held Wednesday evening at the home of the president, Mrs. Louis Sterling on North East street has been indefinitely postponed on account of the death of Mrs. Sterling's uncle, James T. Caplinger of New Market. Mrs. Sterling will go to New Market Wednesday to attend the funeral.
A CLASS SOCIAL. The Ben F. McKey Bible class of the Methodist Episcopal church will give a class social Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at the home of Mrs. S. S. Heath, 309 North Lebanon street. All the members are urged to be present.
EVENING EUCHRE CLUB. The members of the Evening Euchre club were pleasantly entertained last evening by Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ohaver at their home on North East street. At the conclusion of the game a two course luncheon was served.

SOCIAL MEETING. At the social meeting of the ladies of the First Baptist church to be held tomorrow afternoon at the home of Mrs. A. J. Stewart on West North street the guests are asked to bring their needlework. The hostesses for the affair are the members of section six, of which Mrs. S. M. Storms is in charge. WEST END BRIDGE CLUB.
Dr. and Mrs. G. A. Schultz were hosts to the West End Bridge club entertaining last evening at their home on West North street, the members of the club and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hartman, Miss Cora Riley of this city and Mrs. H. O. Thomas of Buffalo, N. Y. REGULAR MEETING. The regular meeting of the Cooking club will be held Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. J. T. Frank Laughner in Whitestown and Miss Rose Threlkeld, assistant hostess. The members will go to Whitestown on the 1:15 Indianapolis car. MEETING OF DORCAS CLASS. A social meeting of the Dorcas class and Mrs. Fred Neptune's class of the Methodist Episcopal church will be held Friday evening at 7 o'clock in the league room of the church. A special program has been planned for the affair.
