Condition of Road:. Compels the Company to Haul Milk in Wajons.
Th bad roadu am causing much trouble it) the operation of the Indiana! Condensed M'lk Company plnnt. Men who brvo been hauling the milk in lame 1 u iimohi'a truck have been ir i tded within the past day or ao to llo this hauling with a team, because the road offtciuls have caueed the arrests ot several of the men for hauling heavy loads when the roads are thawing. The routes arc too long for the men to rover them w ith a Uam in one day and ,for the reason within I he pt week the Indiana Condensed Milk Company has lost 60.000 pounds of milk aside from that which the far mera have lost because the haulers missed them a day or so. The comu. ny nnd the farmers are both working under a big handicap during this time when the roads are soft. The company ia putting on extra teams in order to covor as much of the territory as" possible but as yet it has lieen impossible to get all the milk in. Just a - soon as possible the trucks will be put on the routes. Paul O. Tauer, candidate fer Mayor, subject to the Republican primary, March 6. Clark L.
