Jt. Yarrow at E. Frist, I want everybody to knov.that I am not a carnival flrl. When I married Charlie In St. Louis, two and a half years ago. I had been playing in musical comedy. Of course, after I married I was forco.l to associate with those people, but when Charles ge.ts out I never want either of us to see tlipm asaln. I love Charlie. I love him more than anything e1e In the wcr-ld, unless it is our babies, and I know that if It were not for these people, and the lies Hrry Mohr told him he would never have gotten mto this trouble. Who, If not a man's wife, should know his nature? And I know that Charlie, is at heart, the best man on earth. Charlies will never think of siioivs after he gets out. Bessie Mohr lied when she said Charlie used dope. He never did. 113 drank whisky, but that is not dope. Charlie was anrested on April the sixth. I came to Mount Holly three weeks after he was arrested, and have been here ever since. I can never say how good the folks in this town have been to me. Eut even then it has been hard. I worked In a restaurant here until six weeks before ray second baby was born. I received seven dollars a week and five of that went to cars for our bahy. When our baby was born I ould not work. But I would do more than that I would do anything for Charlie. There has not been a day since 1 have been here that I have not been able to see him for a little while and encourage him, that made Ufa worth while to me. Harry Mohr Is a beast. He Hed when he said he kept me in Indianapolis when my first baby was born. Indianapolis Is my home and Charlie's also. And some day when this Is all over, we will go back there o somewhere else were we can be at peace and forget. Charlie may have to serve time. I expect that, but I will wait, and Charlie will build up a home, and start life anew. He will succeed, I Know It.
