In the bulletin representing better cJtiier.ship week several rather severe looking graduates garbed in the conventional mortar board3 and powns and bull-dog looking rimmed glasses, were busily reading things appropriate for their type of brains so heavy laden. The last stunt portrayed was the Spirit of 1922 w-hen a group of teachers rushed madly across the stage reading their bulletins with consuming interest and one of them exclaiming that she had not seen the last week's one. Lincoln school followed with a clever tako-off on Alfred XoyeV poem "Tho Highwayman," which was burlesqued in a splendid manner. Washington school also had conceived the Idea of taking off the bulletins of the wetk. When the curtain arose there was a figure fashioned of an umbrella and other clever articles which was to represent tho teacher when she comes to Hammond In the fall as fit as a fiddle for work, plump and round as a ball.
