HEXSSELAER. Ind Nov. 28. Phelps and Everett Estill, both of Shelby were placd In th Jail In this city early Sunday morning by Sheriff Gardner of Newton county, following their arrests on assault and battery charges. Phelps and Estill are alleged to have gone to Thayer to a dance while in an Intoxicated condition, and while there to have started a rumpus which ended In "a free-for-aii." They wiil be given a hearing soon. Shelby and Thayer have been the scenes of numerous brawls of late.
