The Naid-Nu club have completed! all of their carefully laid plans and ars all ready for their bazaar this evening at IJie K. of C. club rooms. Everything will be ready for action at seven o'clock. There will be a splendid program as well as all sorts of booths to include on1 for candy, gifts, hams and bacon, fancy goods, bakery goods. There is also to be a country store which promises to be a real treat. This

ROIHEDHMuS: i It was a gay old New year's party I that Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kwlecln-I ski attended at the home of a friend' in Hammond last January 1- t. Hut it spelled ruin for the marital happiness of the Kwiecinskls . Frank started hitting the moonshine early in the evening. It was not long until he was nicely int"Xlcated. His wife Helen. tried t--quiet him but his hilarity grew apace. At midnight she begged him hid the host and his "white mmle" good night. Frank lingered a little longer and finally gave up. They started home. On the street he became nasty. He called her all sorts of vile names and told her he was ail through with her. The row ended with Frank going one way and Helen the other. Helen has never seen him sjnee then. She has heard, that he is In Wisconsin. Today she filed suit in the Superior court of Hammond. They were married August 9th. 1921. FIRST WOMAN -TO SIT AS SENATOR 'INTERNATIONAL NEWS SERVICE1 WASHINGTON. Nov. 21. The star of woman suffrage reached Its greatest ascendancy in American history today when Mrs. W. H. Felton. the "Grand Old Woman of Georgia" was formerly seated as a full fledged senator of the United States. She is the first woman senator ever to take the oath of office on the floor of the senate. Mrs. Felton won her senatorshlp when chivalry triumphed over legality. A singl-" objection from any one of the 95 male senators would have prevented her taking her seat. None objected.
