true meaning of OUIt FLAG and what It stands for was once more evidenced this morning when an American born citizen and a man prominent in a local lodge made Btatemets to the effect that "THE FLAG," nhould be stamped In the mixd. Whvn approached by the store-keeper who was in the act of putlng up "OLD GLORY" in obscrv. ance of Armistice Day he said "prlve the Boys their Bonus." and he immediately Informed that respect to OUR FLAG and the "BONUS" had no relation to one another and jit that any further utterances made y him might pro've dangerous to his safety. The man was not a SERVICE MAN. Is it not a shame that an American Born Citizen should 'be so ip-nornnt of respect to "OUR OWN FLAG?"
