Keeping this Company always ready to serve, means much foresight on our part. This particularly applies in the Calumet Region where new business and homes are being built so rapidly. No town or community can grow faster than the public utilities which serve it, and anticipating the future we have recently constructed a new boiler house at the Gas Plant on North Hohman Street, Hammond. Two 1 50 Horse Power boilers have been installed, the whole job being absolutely the last word in boiler house design. The growth of this region will not be hampered by inadequate facilities for manufactured gas service.
