Many city officials among whom were members of the common council, addressed the meeting and informed the people as to their recent action by the council to compel the street car company to pave their right-of-ways on 150th street. As ordered by the council two weeks ago: 1 File an aJTidavIt In the East Chicago city against the street car company for not domplying with the penal seltion of the city ordinance ordering the Green Line to pave their right of way on 150th street. 2 Appeal to the Appellate court against which relieved the street car

company from the city ordinance, ! for a reversed decision.
