The West Hammond Maroon football team, under the direction of Coach Ebert. are preparing themselves for their clash against the Crown Point American Legion eleven, which Is to be staged at the

Hub City Sunday. Coach Ebert has eight men from last year's squad and has started to round the boys into form. The team has been holding some hard practice sessions, as they will be out to avenge the 13 to 0 defeat handed them last year by the Hub City. There is plenty of material on hand to make up the line, but .the backfleld will have to be bolstered before the team will be ready for real action. This year the team has considerable weight compared to last year's eleven and should the backfleld men round Into shape the team will be hard to beat. The line will be able to hold its own with such men as Scully, Buser, Cap Shipwreck. Walter.. Rimre, Beckman and
