In the last three year the family resided in this city Mrs. Boggs made many dear friends who are bowed in grief at her early passing. She leaves her husband and one son Norman Boggs who have the sympathy of the entire community In their sad bereave ment. The body will be taken to Frankfort Ind. her girlhood home, where burial will take place next Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Robert Wartena and her son Robert. Jr., returned last evening from Detroit, Mich., accompanied by the former's mother Mrs. Harry Bland who will pay them a visit. - Milton Rottenbcrg, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. T. Rottenberg, is suffering; with a fractured ankle which he iocelved while playing- football with the high school team Saturday. Xray showed two fractures which will, no doubt, keep Milton away from school for quite a while. The East Chicago Past Matrons Club of th. O. E. S. were hostesses yesterday at a 1:00 o'clock course luncheon to the members of the Lake and Porter Counties' organization at their regular monthly meeting. Covers were laid for flfty-s-ven and the tables., were prettily arranged and very attractive with bowls of nantaurtlons and fall roses. Following the luncheon which was served In the dining hall of the Temple, all repaired to th? reception room where the buslnss meeting was held, with the
