Eladed portion of map indicates neutral lone. Figures indicate central points of interest in recent news dispatches. The recent move of Mustapha Kemal Pasha in ordering his Turkish Nationalist forces back into the neutral zone about the straits at Chanak (Figure 1) has caused British officials to issue an ultimatum. It is intimated that the allies may allow the Kemalist forces to land troops at Midia (Figure 2) fifty miles from the mouth of the Bosphorus, which would rive them entrance to Thrace without passing through the neutral rone. Mudania (Figure 3) has been selected for the armistice conference. D'sh line (Figure 4) indicates where Kemal'a forces are drawn up along neutral zone. British forces are strengthening the defenses of the Ishmid peninsula. (Figure 5) to resist any attempt of Kemal to take Constantinople.
