The government had a claimant for five twenty dollar bills recently mail ed to Internal Revenue Department here from Muncie wit ha note saving it was "owed to the givernment." Joseph Randolph, of Gaston, Ind., describing himself as an "old soldier" -wrote to the Department expres the belief the $100 might have been a part of his pension money. "I lost six $20 .bills," the letter said and asked the possibility of recovering this money to make up his loss. Revenue Department officials said Randolph probably would not get
the money for he would first have to
prove it was the money he lost, a difficult procedure. Randolph said he had read of the receipt of the five twenty dollar bill by the Internal Revenue Department in a Muncie newspaper.
