DIAGNOSES
DISEASE BY HANDWRITING
BY JOHN L. SPIVAK [STAFF CORRESPONDENT I. N. SERVICE] CHICAGO, Sept. 27 The amazing assertion that, from the handwriting on a letter or a note can be diagnosed disease and its exact location in the body of the writer, was made by Dr. Albert Abrims, of San Francisco, who is her to lecture before
a medical body, in an exclusive interview given to The International News Service. Not only can disease be diagnosed from handwritings but the sex of the writer whether living or dead and the location of the writer at the time the writing is examined, also can be determined. Dr. Abrams asserted. "I know this, sounds grotesque," said the scientist whose past discoveries have gone down in medical history, "but I have done it, my students have done it, There is noth ing grotesque about it when one understands the electronic theory." The electronic theory which Dr. Abrams worked on for more than ten years is based upon the accepted fact that all life is electronic motion. Dr. Abrams claims and substantiates his claim by 12.000 infallibly diagnosed cases, that all diseases are nothing more than the electrons jarred out of their normal
positions.
Upon this theory also Dr, Abrams bares the assertion that from, one". handwriting can be discovered, the sex disease. if any, and location of the writer "All life." said Dr. Abrams. "is el-ctronic energy. "When one write: the electronic energy is transferred indelibly to the paper and that electronic energy can be diagnosed." And then began the most amazing part of the interview. Going on hi assumption that all matter is electronic energy the doctor asserted that even abstract thought was electrons put in motion and that thought produced physical reflexion. "Without a machine, with nothing but his own sensitively tuned body. BRITISH SEEK TO CONCILIATE TURKS
Indication Today is That Clash in Far East Will Be Averted.
INTERNATIONAL NEWS SERVICE CONSTANTINOPLE. Sept. 2S. General Sir Charles Harrington, the British commander, acting- upon instructions from London, has adopted a more conciliatory attitude towards the Turkish Nationalists and the indications today were that a clash In the Near East would be averted. General Harrington has sent a note to Mustapha Kema.1 Pasha suggesting a conference and extending the time In which the Turks are to evacuate the neutral zone. The British commander told the press that he would not attack unless the Turks make some overt war move against the British. Up to the present time the Turks have convinced themselves In occupying the towns In the neutral zone where there are no British troops. They have not -undertaken any offensive action against the British soldiers. The Turks are well supplied with war materials. It is estimated that they have sixty airplanes. British airplanes r on duty continuously watching the movements of the Turks. This city Is calm ibut there is much tension in the atmosphere. British officials admit that the Allies could not hope to save Constantinople of the Turks advanced upon the city and an uprising occurred here
at the same time. The Turks are reinforcing the troops that seized Kum Kale and Erenkeul at the western end of the Dardanelles. Turkish cavalry has crossed the neutral zone from Cigha occupying Ahmedly, 23 miles east of Nagara. Amid Bey, representative of the Angora government said that Kemal did not recognize the neutral zone along the straits. He declared that the Straits "had never been neutral for the Greeks because they had been allowed to move troops through It and sent war ships into the Dardanelles." Hamid Bey continued: "If the Straits were not neutral for the Greeks they are not neutra! for the Turks. The Greeks repeatedly crossed the sea of Marmora to

Construction work on the plant is reported to be progressing rapidly, with all the assurances that factory operations (an be started by the first of next year.
