All who heard Dr. Moore's address at Hammond a few weeks ago will have a special interest in these pictures. This will be the last pictures until September. A daily Vacation Elblo School will be conducted in the Methodist Episcopal Church, Clark street, and Fischrupp avenue, beginning Monday, June 26. The school will be open to all children of the community between the ages of five and eleven years, up to the capacity of the rooms. There will 'be no charge whatever for the work given, The school will continue for four weeks, the hours being from 9 to 11 o'clock five das a week. The program will consist dt worship period, songs, Bible stories, indoor games and occasional outdoor picnics. The child ren will be divided Into three groups according to age; first 5 and 6; second, 7 and 8 and third, 8, 10 and 11. Children should be present for enrollment at 9 o'clock on Monday, June 26. This is not a part of the week-day schools of religion held during the wintr months. The Whiting Junior High School held Its anual Field Day at the City Park on Wednesday of this week. The Field Meet this. year was "by far the most successful undertaking of the Junior High School and the co-operation of the clases was well developed. All members going by train will take the 8:20 a. m. car for East Chicago and take the 9:17 a. m. interurban car from there.
