A -wedding breakfast ar.d dinner was served ct the home of the bride's parents which was very beautifully decorated in the bridal colors of pink and white. A larg? number of relatives and friends from out of town were present to help celebrate the occasion. Mr. and Mrs. Christie left for a trip to Colncno, Mich., where theY will enJoy several days with Mr. and Mrs. Miller who -was formerly Miss Elsie LangTiam, well known in Robertsdale, she having formerly llvel with her parents on Myrtle avenue. On their return Mr. and Mrs. Christie will remain with the bride's parents on Roberts avenue. The young couple have the ;best wishes of their many friends In their new life. Mrs. H. Whiting high school graduates this year. Friends of Henry F. Eggers of Lake avenue are pleased to see him out again after a serious spell of illness. Mr. Eggers was under the care of Dr. Lau. Andy Mittchoft of Indianapolis Blvd., was slightly Injured in an automobile accident on Wednesday evening. A miscellaneous shower was given in honor of Miss Grace Turl -y at her home on Lincoln avenue last Tuesday evening in honor of her coming marriage to Floyd Ried. The home was beautifully decorated for the occasion, a lovely course luncheon was served and many pretty things were received by the honored one.' The Stieglltz Park Sunday School will give their Children's Day program tomorrow afternoon from two tjf three o'clock at the school building. The parents and friends of the children are 'urged to foe present at this entertainment. The Logansport Presbytery will meet Monday morning at the First Presbyterian church of Hammond.
