The "Green Line" car going: north on Forsyth avenue and turning east cn Chicago avenue, struck an automobile that was headed south on Forsyth avenue late last night. Xon of the occupants of the machine were Injured. The automobile was vslightly damaged.
A SEW OIL LIXE By the Joint acquiring of the Teapot Dome oil wells of Wyoming, the Standard Oil of Indiana and Sinclair Kenning company are reported to be negotiating for the purchase of pipe for the construction of a 780 mile 8 and 10 Inch line from this extreme western area to the Carrolton, Missouri, from where the pipe line will be connected tip here with the East Chicago-Whiting refineries of The two companies. This is the feature of the line pipe market and is expected to develop shortly when the two concerns have decided upon their requirements. It is said that this order will require approximately 40,000 tons of pipe.

Lowe Ammerman was brought to his home on 143rd street last Friday, from St. Bernard's hospital, where he underwent a very serious operation several weeks ago. He Is surprising all his friends In the progress to complete recovery he Is making. It is reported he Is walking better than he did one year ago. Mrs. William Herbert, from Michigan, is spending a few days In this city, with her husband. The Herberts moved from East Chicago to a farm in Michigan two years ago and Mr. Herbert has still continued to work at the Interstate mill.
