MEMORIAL DAY Tuesday, May 30th This day has been set aside in memory of our loved ones who have passed away. The placing of flowers on their graves is a sacred duty. Each resting place is worthy of the brightest flowers that bloom. "Cover them over with beautiful flowers; Deck them with garlands, these brothers of purs; Lying so silent, by night, and by day. Sleeping the years of their manhood away; Years they had marked for the joys of the brave; 'Years they must waste in the sloth of the grave. All the bright laurels that promised to bloom Fell to the earth when they went to the tomb. So in our minds we will name them once more, So in our hearts we will cover them o'er; Roses and lilies and violets blue ' Bloom iff our hearts for the brave and the true, Cover them over yes, cover them over - Parents, and husband, and brother and lover; Crown in your hearts these dead heroes of ours. And cover them over with beautiful flowers." WILL CARLETON. Flowers re most appropriate for this occasion. They are even more than that; they are the embodiment and representatives of life, with all of its enthusiastic pulsations, love and tenderness; they convey the thought intended when all others fail. Our stock of cut flowers, baskets and Memorial Wreaths will be complete so place your order at once to save disappointment. Say It With Flowers THE FLOWER SHOP.
