This evening the Plymouth club of the Congregational church will hold their first annual picnic If the weather permits they will go to "Whiting Park where they will enjoy a weiner roast. The Lady Elks will be entertained this week at the home of Mrs. M. F. McCarthy, on Todd and Railroad avenues. Miss Emily Wedgewood and daughter. Mrs. Bertha Smith, are in Crown Point today on business for the Rebekah's assembly, of which Mrs. Wedgewood is state president. Miss Helen Galvin very delightfully entertained the girls of the Citizens' Trust & Savings Bank on Saturday evening at five o'clock dinner, in honor of Miss Elna Tolf, who will be a June bride. The color scheme was blue and white and was carried out in the deeoratlons. Among the Chicago visitors today are Mrs. iVValter Framk; and Mrs. Harry Spencer and daughter, Jean. Crowe for their activities in prosecuting suspects in connection with the recent bombing outrages. jFitzmorris and Crowe have been active in rounding up suspects in con nection with the killing of two policemen recently. Westbrook recently Eut down an uprising in his jail by whipping the ringleaders and Scanlan as denounced violence in labor controversies.

Mr. and Mrs. George Clapper arrives home this morning from Mayo Brothers hotspital In Rochester, Minn where Mr. Clapper was successfully operated upon several weeks ago.
