Hubbard of Piqua, Ohio, father of Mika Hubbard will be sorry to hear ot his death. Mr. Hubbard had been ailing for several months. Mrs. J. Pernowskl of Myrtle ave., was called to her home In Michigan to attend the funeral of her father. Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Martz entertained J. Howard and family at a six o'clock dinner on last Wednesday evening. H. Beavans who enjoyed a fishing trip with friends at Cedar Lake on Saturday evening returned with a fine mesa of fish and entertained some of his friends at a fish dinner Sunday. Mrs. William Stark moved to Eagle River, Wis., about a year ago, is visiting his parents Mr. and Mrs. Peter Sauer. He is much pleased with the suroundings and climate in their new location which in the northeastern part of Wisconsin, in the lake and summer resort region. It will be remembered that Mr. and Mrs. Stark went to Wisconsin on account of Mr. Starke's health which the climate has greatly Improved. Mr. Sauer made the trip via auto in two days, a distance of about 450
miles and reports it as a wonderful trip owing to the ibeautiful scenery throughout the state of Wisconsin. He 'being a mason contractor and the spring building season having opened will enable him to make but a brief stay, contemplating on starting on his return next Monday. Miss Lizzie Schrelner of Chicago is visiting at the home of Mrs. Maxwell.
