It Is bo tough, and durable on floors, not showing heel marks or scratches from heavy furniture that every one 5refers It to any other varnish atrer they have once used it. It does not show brush marks or laps; is absolutely not affected either by hot or coll water. It has , a beautiful enough gloss to be used on the unest furniture, even a piano or vlctrola. It comes in clear and light colors. Including oaks, mahogany, walnut, etc. The coloring Is different from other varnishes, stronger, clearer and as It never settles In the can It eliminates getting streaks and different colors. There is a dandy place to hike along Hart's Ditch toward the- Little Calumet river. In the eumraer time this path is "bordered with masses of wild flowers. There is a sandy hole In Hart's Ditch which makes an ideal place for swimming, inasmuch as it is not more than three or four feet deep in the deepest place. During the past year the cabin has been painted, steel cots installed and a ceiling put in. This makes It quite comfortable. Counting the boys per night who have stayed there during the past year, there iaave been over seven hundred lodgers at fao cabin, and it is being used by more different boys all the time. Ko boys are allowed to use the cabin unless they are under responsible leadership, thus insuring a safe, clean time while on the outing. This spring, as a result of the 'bird house contest, some forty bird hous
es were placed in the trees and the shrubbery. No doubt many of these houses will have tenants this summer. Camp "Wicker has been made a bird and gam reservation, end anyone trespassing will be dealt wlt'n according to the law which protects uoh placesThe Boy Scouts of -America 1 a corporation with executives and departments, conducted on the budget system. the whole United States is divided into twelve regions, and In each region the presidents of local councils and the resident members
