Mrs. K. P. Brown of 436 Cleveland avenue, entertained the Westminster club of the Presbyterian church at ther home this afternoon. The Pythian Sisters will meet Friday evening in the K. of P. hall. There will be initiation and re-freshmen-is and all members are asked to be present. Mrs. Ed. Hill entertained the 500 club at her home in Atchison avenue, Tuesday evening, awards going to Mrs. Wm. Wilson, Mrs. Hill and Mrs. Thoush. An elaborate luncheon was served Mrs. Robert Crowe of Hammond yas a Whiting visitor yesterday. The T. M. C. of the Christian church will give a. minstrel in the gymnasium of the church, Friday evening. Mrs. Hasel Todd and Mrs. Meta Moore entertained at a Round RobIn party yesterday for the Eastern Stare. Prizes for "500' were award ed to Mesdames Buehler, Wilson and Lehman. Those holding high score in Bunco were Mesdames Crowe, Lelse and Willett. Those taking part in the minstrel show to be given In the gym of the Church of Christ tomorrow evening are: Messrs. Lt McCampbell. S. -Nicholson, Ben Brown, W. J. Reder, O. Ward, F. K. Gapen, R. Kiester, Kenneth Landls, Ed. Xyland, F. Boyer. G. Anderson, Lawrence Moore, Arthur Lauer, W. L.. Thorp, Allen Dutcher and Skaggs. The nature of the program will be as follows: Minstrel singlny, jokes, gags, speeches. The Colored Church by Landls and the Minstrel. Dear-In-a-Horn, U Moore and Reder. Haunted House, Lauer, Thorp and Gapen. The minstrel will be given by the T. M. C. of the Christian church, 426 Central ave. All are cordially invited. Mr. and Mr. Lawrence Colman and son who left Monday for Olean, X. T. were the guests of honor at a farewell party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. X. Miller on Sunday evening. Twenty of their most intimate friends were present and all enjoyed a very good time.

This was supposed to have been the last meeting of the year, but a motion was made to have one more the second Tuesday in June which will be a real hard time party, every one having to dress in rags or pay a fine of 2oo at the door. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Peretson, of Lake avenue are the proud parents of another son born to them on last Tuesday morning. Both mother and babe are getting along fine. The attending physician is Xr. Lauer. Mrs. Garber of Lake avenue is suffering from a painful infected finger, caused by a hang-nail. Mrs- J. Fase of Roberts avenue, atended a card party given by the Fair at the Congress Hotel. Mrs. Herman Breckman of Atchison avenue spent last Sunday with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Hegadorn, of Windsor Park. Mrs. A. Fisher and daughter, Mrs. Collins of Chicago, spent at the George Golding home on Lake ave. Mr. J.
