Robertsdale. It is hoped to increase the number of branches soon. The entire work was left to the three women members of the Li-

MAY DAY RIOTING . AT LEIPSIG GERMANY
[INTERNATIONAL NEWS SERVICE] BERLIN, May 2,-Several persons were severely wounded in May Day fighting at Leipzig, between socialists and non-socialists, according to advices from that city, today. The socialists were making a
university, when they were attacked by a band of students. The students tore down the republican flag and hoisted the university flag. Workmen tore down the university flag and threw it into the street and it was trampled by the crowd. Firing broke out while the police were trying to arrest the ring leaders in the rioting.
One of the oddest cargoes-on record was probably that carried lately by a British steamer bound for Morocco. It consisted of 2,000,000 gallons of purified drinking water for the use of the Spanish troops
demonstration before the Leipzig flirhting the rebels in Morocco.
