nated "Veteran Troop.'" Troops Nos. 3 and 4 are the Saint Johns School troops and a healthy rivalry exists between the two. Mr. Dedlnske leads No. 3, assisted by Mr. George Soroka, and Mr. J. Biel leads No. 4, assisted by Mr. Paul Gerba. Both the assistant scoutmasters have been identified with the scouts since the troops were sttarted three years ago. " Mr. James LaPert lads No. 5, and has the largest troop in Whiting.it numbers 42 boys, which is the raailmum number that he can take. This Is the Sacred Heart Troop. Troop No. 10 is lead by Mr. C. Millar, whose boys are largely recruited from the Dvangelical Lutheran Church. This troop is now in its second year and is a promising troop and is hoping to make the older troops look to their laurels.
