Jim Hart, newspaper and magazineartist who lives In his studioapartment at 2534 Norrh Rockwell street, Chicago, was a room-mate of Charles Dyer at the Michigan Military and the friendship of the school days has 'been continued ever since. When Jim and Mrs. Jim stopped off In Hammond the other day to see Mr. and Mrs. Dyer and learned that he was out campaigning for County Clerk, Jim had an idea. The result of the Idea is the series of original drawings -which started in yesterday's Times. The drawings are sure -to ho of interest because Jim has the art of being Interesting down to a fine point. Mrs. Jim says he Is Just a big kid who knows how to draw. He Is as enthusiastio about doing something to help Charlie in the clerkship race as he was In seeing him win the pole vault event for his school years ago.
